Diabetes WA works hard in our role to advocate on behalf of all people with diabetes and their families, at local and national levels. Our current advocacy action goals are in line with Diabetes Australia’s National Policy Priorities and focus on areas such as:
Get Involved - Ambassador Program
Ambassadors play a vital role in creating awareness about diabetes in the Western Australian community. If you are living with, affected by, or at risk of diabetes - or simply passionate about the cause - then you may be interested in becoming an ambassador for Diabetes WA.
As an ambassador, you will be able to inspire the community through your personal experiences with diabetes by participating in media activities and community events.
Diabetes WA will provide you with full support and guidance and you can choose to contribute as much, or as little, as you like.
If you are interested in becoming an ambassador, please contact the Community Relations team at Diabetes WA on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1300 136 588.
