Diabetes WA is a charity dedicated to helping more Western Australians understand the impact of diabetes on individuals, families and communities.

Diabetes is now the fastest growing chronic disease in the world and in Western Australia where it affects in excess of 100,000 people. It is a progressive, unrelenting and challenging disease.

As the number of people with diabetes continues to increase, so does the demand for our support and services. Many people are surprised to learn that Diabetes WA is not funded by the government and needs support from the community to continue to meet this demand - and that's where you come in!

For $2 you have the chance to win $10,000 (first prize), $1,000 (2nd prize), or two prizes of $500!

Your donation will bring enable us to provide support, education, hope and so much more to people living with diabetes in our community. We sincerely hope you'll support this initiative.

Make a Regular Donation and become a Freedom Fighter
Our Freedom Fighter program is for individuals who want to support our work by pledging a regular donation on a monthly basis. From just $20 per month, you can provide ongoing education and support services for people living with diabetes and make a difference to the lives of many fellow West Australians.

Gift In Memory
When a loved one passes away, a gift in memory to Diabetes WA is a thoughtful way to honour and remember that special person. This is a tender way to remember the love and friendship you have shared whilst touching the lives of many others for years to come.

Upon receipt of the gift in memory, an acknowledgement letter is sent to the next of kin/family advising them of your thoughtful gesture (the dollar amount will not be mentioned). A letter of thanks and a tax receipt will be sent to everyone who makes a memorial donation.

We can also provide in memorial envelopes for the collection of donations at your loved ones funeral.

Gift In Celebration
A gift in celebration is a wonderful way to share a special occasion. Instead of a gift, ask your family and friends to make a donation towards achieving freedom from diabetes. If you wish to host a ‘celebration’, set up an on-line donation page through everydayhero and forward the link to your family and friends. Or contact us and we can provide envelopes to collect donations.

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving allows you to make regular donations to Diabetes WA directly from your gross salary, immediately reducing the amount of income tax deducted from your pay.

Ask your employer or payroll department if your workplace operates such a program. If they do, download the registration form. If not, contact 9436 6270 and we will help you to establish one.
