Volunteer

Without the dedicated support of our fantastic volunteers, we would not be able to fulfil our role of supporting people living with, affected by and at risk of diabetes in WA.Our volunteers are ambassadors of our organisation, reflecting our values across the WA community.

What tasks have our volunteers been doing lately?

• 20 volunteers helped out at Convicts for a Cause event on 10 November at Fremantle Prison. They helped check in event participants and guests, sold raffle tickets assisted with catering and bar service.
  
• A team of volunteers continue to post out NDSS registration cards to people who are newly diagnosed with diabetes.
  
• One of our volunteers is coordinating our fundraising collection tin program by engaging a number of businesses and retailers.
  

Current Volunteer Vacancies

Diabetes WA also offer opportunities for students to learn valuable on-the-job knowledge by undertaking work experience at either our Subiaco or Belmont offices.
