Media Spokespeople
At Diabetes WA, we aim to raise awareness in the community about diabetes and the impact it has on people’s lives. one important way we do this is by working with the media.
As part of our media activity, we often require volunteers to be spokespeople or ‘case studies’ for newspaper articles or for radio/television programs. When people share their stories of how diabetes has affected their lives, it brings the reality of the condition home to others.
If you have diabetes, are at risk of type 2 diabetes or have a family member with diabetes and you would like to tell your story, please complete this form and return it to us. The information you provide will only be used to identify case studies for media requests and statements.
Please be assured that when you are on our list of media volunteers, there is absolutely no obligation to be interviewed. You will be contacted by Diabetes WA before your details are passed to any journalist.
