Our Speak Out program is aimed at raising community awareness and knowledge of type 2 diabetes.
Trained volunteers deliver interactive presentations across the Perth metropolitan area to community groups and workplaces, with programs now also available in some country areas.
Presentations include:
- Overview of diabetes and its seriousness.
- Risk factors associated with type 2 diabetes.
- How to prevent type 2 diabetes.
Speak Out presenters can be requested to talk from 45 minutes to 1 hour, free of charge.
Presentations do not include information on diabetes management and are not suitable for the frail aged. If you are interested in booking a presentation, please click here to register your interest and one of our team members will be in touch shortly. Alternatively, contact us on (08) 9325 7699 and ask to speak with someone regarding Speak Out.
