Speak Out will increase awareness for your group of how to prevent type 2 diabetes. Presentations are suitable for workplaces, community groups and centres.

The presentation features detailed case studies, lasts 45 minutes - 1 hour, and covers:

What is diabetes: the difference between type 1 and type 2
The risk factors of type 2 diabetes, and are you at risk
Healthy eating and physical activity to prevent type 2 diabetes
Where to go for further information

Bookings are subject to availability and require reasonable notice.

Presentations do not include information on diabetes management and are not suitable for the frail aged.
