Insulin Pump Workshop
If you’re a little unsure about how to get the most benefit out of your insulin pump, or would to like to learn more about the features your pump provides, then this hands-on session is for you.
The Insulin Pump Workshop will provide key information to help you confidently look after your diabetes.
The Insulin Pump Workshop will provide key information to help you confidently look after your diabetes.
This three hour session will provide you with an opportunity not only to develop practical skills around insulin pumps, but also a chance to connect with other people living with type 1 diabetes with similar experiences (and questions).
You must bring your pump with you to the workshop.
This session covers:
- insulin pump features and adjusting pump settings
- bolusing
- preventing and managing hypo/hyperglycaemia
- sick days
- infusion sets
- continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
For people living with type 1 diabetes who use a pump.
