Recapping HBF Run for a Reason - Diabetes WA
 In News

Intermittent showers could not dampen the spirits of the runners and walkers in the HBF Run for a Reason on Sunday 27 May. A record-breaking 33,000 people participated in the event, with several reports of new personal bests, and an overflowing of camaraderie at the finish line.

Participants can see their results and the highlight video on the HBF Run for a Reason website.

We would like to extend our hearty thanks to the 68 people who ran for Diabetes WA, as well as the 38 volunteers who helped on the day for us! So far we have fund-raised over $21,000, with the top of the leader-board changing almost daily.

Fundraisers can keep collecting donations for their efforts for a few more weeks, so it’s not too late for your friends and family to support your efforts!

Thanks also to everyone who came to visit our stand at the finish line. It was amazing to meet so many supporters, and hear the stories of people who are living with diabetes, or living with someone with diabetes.
