The HBF Run for a Reason will take place on Sunday, 27 May 2018. Time to get those running shoes out and start training! Registrations are now open so start fundraising to show your support for Diabetes WA. You can take part in one of three courses, including a 4km, 12km or half marathon.
Take advantage of the early bird pricing before 6 March. Please note your registration entry fee doesn’t go to Diabetes WA. To support us, please help us by fundraising or making a donation.
Supporting us is easy:
1. Click here to create your personal fundraising page
2. Click here to register for the event
3. Spread the word far and wide! Share your personal fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues and ask them to support you in your efforts.
Be like Carly
Last year Carly Pink-O’Sullivan raised $7,340 to raise awareness about the difference between type 1 and type 2 diabetes and share the realities of the condition. “Having type 1 diabetes shouldn’t stop you from leading a healthy and active lifestyle. It’s been hard, but diabetes has changed my life for the better. Now I’m working towards a career as a diabetes educator”, Carly said.
You can be a Diabetes WA fundraising superstar like Carly!
There are lots of ways to get involved
Not running this year but still want to be part of the event? We are looking for event volunteers to help at the Diabetes WA water station – click here to sign up.
