Putting your health first is not always easy. Carbs are confusing, exercise is exhausting and daily life is a challenge.
We can help.
Sign up for Let’s Prevent, a free health program that will help you set a personal plan to get your body back to its best, inside and out.
Let’s Prevent is free to eligible adults living in the South West. It will provide you with the practical information and skills that will enable you to put your health first and make lasting lifestyle changes.
What is Let’s Prevent?
Let’s Prevent is a free program that will put you on the path to better health and wellbeing.
You will discover how to lose weight and keep it off – which will have a positive effect on your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose levels. Plus you will also be on track to prevent type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
Let’s Prevent is an informal program that will get you thinking about the nuts and bolts of your body and the simple steps you can take to get it working at its very best.
What does it involve?
The program begins with a group education session. During this session, two experienced health professionals will help you to build an understanding of your personal health, how you can improve it and how you can reduce your risk of chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
We don’t leave you afterwards. For the next 12 months you will have access to face-to-face sessions, telephone support and e-newsletters that will provide you with hints and tips on building your healthier future. Plus, you can call on us any time you like if you have questions or want extra guidance.

Let’s Prevent is running throughout the South West and is free for anyone who meets the eligibility criteria. To find out if you are eligible, complete our short questionnaire.
