Putting your health first is not always easy. Carbs are confusing, exercise is exhausting and daily life is a challenge.
We can help.
Sign up for Let’s Prevent, a free online health program that will help you set a personal plan to get your body back to its best, inside and out.
Let’s Prevent is an informal program that will get you thinking about the nuts and bolts of your body and the simple steps you can take to get it working at its very best.
What is Let’s Prevent?
Let’s Prevent is a free program that will put you on the path to better health and wellbeing.
You will discover how to lose weight and keep it off – which will have a positive effect on your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose levels. Plus you will also be on track to prevent type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
What does it involve?
Let’s Prevent is currently being offered as an online program. It begins with a phone or video conferencing session with one of our qualified health professionals, who will talk to you about your health and lifestyle and how Let’s Prevent can work for you.
From there you will be able to watch and learn from a series of online video vignettes, that will provide you with a practical understanding of your personal health, and the simple practical steps you can take to reduce your risk of chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
Once you’ve developed an understanding of what is happening in your body, one of our health professionals will support you in setting attainable and sustainable health goals that you can work towards.
We don’t leave you there – you’ll have continued support and guidance from our health professionals, plus you’ll be able to join our Let’s Prevent online community, where you can log on and meet like-minded people on their own health journey.
Who can attend?
Let’s Prevent is currently online only and is available to those who live in the Mid West and South West regions of Western Australia.
It is free for anyone who meets the eligibility criteria. To find out if you are eligible, complete our short questionnaire.
