Register for the Type 1 TACTICS Event

Do you have type 1 diabetes and an interest in exercise?

Type 1 TACTICS for exercise is a newly-created FREE group program by Diabetes WA designed to give you the tools and TACTICS you need to safely and effectively manage your blood glucose levels surrounding exercise.

In this three-hour group program, you will have the opportunity to learn, problem solve and strategise with your peers and a Credentialled Diabetes Educator/Accredited Exercise Physiologist. This workshop is suitable for people who currently use insulin pens to manage their diabetes.

Program 1:

When: Wednesday, 29 May 2024, 9:30am – 12:30pm
Where: Bramston Park Community Sporting Facility, Bramston Vista, Burns Beach, 6028

Program 2:

 

When: Tuesday, 4 June 2024, 9:30am – 12:30pm
Where:
Hillview Intercultural Community Centre, 1-3 Hill View Place, Bentley, 6102

A follow-up group session will also occur a month post-program to discuss how you have gone.
